HTC Sensation Looks And Feel

HTC is known to give a perfect shape and design to its phone and HTC Sensation is no different. The all-round curved design of the phone gives it an elegant look and because of the aluminum case, Sensation looks very much similar to Desire S. With HTC Sensation dimensions measuring 126.1 x 65.4 x 11.3 mm, the phone is quite handy for carrying out long talks. What is really adds a feather in the looks of the phone is its concave screen. Because of the aluminum casing, the phone feels rock solid on being gripped.

HTC Sensation Display

The phone sports a 4.3 inches gorilla glass display which displays 16 M colors of resolution measuring 540×960 pixels. The S-LCD capacitive touch screen is good enough and responds to slightest of touches. Viewing angles however suffer when the phone tilted. Colors do get a little washed out but sunlight legibility is good enough. Below the screen you get the four capacitive touch screen button while on the left hand side you get the microUSB port and volume rocker buttons.

The phone is equipped with apps such as document viewer, Google Search, Gmail, Google Talk etc. HTC Sensation Youtube application helps users to enjoy Youtube videos on your phone. Another great feature of the device is operating system. HTC Sensation OS is that of Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and HTC Sense 3.0. Because of the latest version of Android, users get access to several features. The new lock screen is another great feature of the device.

HTC Sensation Camera

HTC Sensation Android is equipped with a 8MP camera which clicks pictures of resolution measuring 3264×2448 pixels. The camera is equipped with features such as auto-focus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch-focus, face detection etc. However, we were disappointed to find out that despite the 8MP camera, the image details are not that clear. But overall the performance of the camera is decent enough. We were disappointed to find that the phone does not have a dedicated camera key.

HTC Sensation mobile records 1080p videos @ 30 fps and the videos captured are decent enough.

The phone is equipped with a virtual on screen QWERTY keyboard which facilitates texting and e-mailing.

Thanks to HTC Sensation quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and 3G support connectivity is a breeze with HTC Sensation. Local connectivity of the device is enhanced by the presence of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot and Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP profile. The phone also supports microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack which completes the connectivity set. HTC Sensation HDMI port allows you to connect the phone to television. Because of the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread web browser, browsing is no issue with the phone. The browser also features double tap zooming and text reflow. HTC Sensation is also fitted with an FM radio which has a simple interface. We were a bit annoyed to find out that the radio is a bit slow to start and stop.

The phone is equipped with a great music player and because of the SRS sound enhancement the listening experience is great one.
